Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she’s been extra stressed since leaving the show, causing her skin to break out in eczema and become more sensitive.

The 20-year-old model just released her new tanning lotion called Filter by Molly-Mae.

While taking fans on a behind-the-scenes look at how the product came to be, she opened up about her battle with her skin.

She explained: ‘I’ve actually got really sensitive skin. I’ve got eczema and one of the things that I really wanted to make sure about this tan was that it was good on sensitive skin.

‘I never really used to have sensitive skin, but since being home the last few months, stress has caused me to develop eczema and stuff.’

‘I’ve developed eczema now,’ she added.

Molly also assured viewers the product is vegan-friendly and animal cruelty-free because it was something that was ‘so important’ to the young star.

Molly-Mae recently came under fire for having a darker shade of foundation.

Some people felt the shade used by the Love Island star in her previous make-up tutorial was too dark for her natural skin tone.

She addressed the controversy, saying: ‘So, many of you will be pleased to know I’ve actually changed my foundation.

‘Should I have changed my foundation because of what everyone was saying about my last video? Probably not. Did I? Yes.’

‘This is actually foundation I’ve been using for years, I’ve just gone back to using it,’ she said of the new shade. ‘I’m wearing it in shade Barcelona and if anyone’s offended by that, I’m sorry.’

Reflecting further, Molly-Mae added: ‘I’m past the point of having anything to say. I never realised how many people I could offend by applying foundation and…yeah, I don’t know.

‘I don’t even know what to say about that.’

Love Island is set to return to ITV2 in 2020.
